Young Men’s Service League is a non-profit organization that initiates and encourages high school aged young men and their mothers to pursue philanthropic involvement in their community and provides an opportunity to enhance mother/son relationships.  Our 210 members of the Pacesetter Chapter and the newly formed Integrity Chapter with 104 members are about to embark on our Ultimate Gift Project for Journey to Dream's Kyle's Place.  The BIG Ultimate Gift Weekend @ Kyle's Place of 10/15 & 10/16 where our two chapters will unite to build 7 outdoor wood furniture pieces, stain fence, complete yard improvements, wash exterior windows, finish painting exterior of the building, and other projects.

Ultimate Gift began as a spin-off from a novel of the same name written by Jim Stovall. The plot journeys the circumstance of a young man who must complete 12 separate assignments before he is eligible for the mysterious "Ultimate Gift" in his grandfather's will. Throughout his trials and tribulations he is faced with many opportunities that change his mind and spirit and of course, he realizes that he is a much better person because of all he has done. Eventually, he earns the inheritance, but what he does with his riches will probably surprise you.

The challenge YMSL gives all of its members is to find a way to give an “Ultimate Gift” back to their communities as a kick off to the giving season. We, our "Pacesetter" Chapter, have invited our newest Flower Mound Chapter, "Integrity", to join us to achieve a transformational impact for JTD's "Kyle's Place" an emergency shelter and 24 hour care for teens 13 to 18, the first in Denton County. Contractor's are finishing up the interior build-out.  Please see more detail on Kyle's Place on their website so that you will know all about the philanthropy in which we are providing the Ultimate Gift.
