Now is the time to discover your SHINE - the Strengths, Hobbies, Interests & Irritants, Needs and Experiences that make each of us unique!

House of Shine is a leadership development nonprofit with a mission to strengthen communities by growing confident, self-aware and resilient leaders who are equipped with a deep understanding of themselves and why their contributions to the world matter. Using our custom-created SHINE framework, we will teach you how to be just that - a confident, self-aware and resilient leader.

Just a reminder:

S = Strengths, H= Hobbies, I= Interests & Irritants, and N= Needs and E= Experiences.

Although we teach people how to discover their SHINE when they visit our museum, this workshop will get you to roll up your sleeves and do the work necessary to really dig in and discover your SHINE.

Dr. Claudia Beeny, founder and creator of the What's Your Shine? curriculum and author of What's Your Shine? A Method for Discovering Who You Are and Why It Matters, created this ground-breaking workshop.

What's Your Shine? - Part 1 is the first of a 3-Part Series of discovering your SHINE (we recommend you attend all THREE sessions so you don't miss a thing). Note: Part 1 & 2 are prerequisites for Part 3.

Each year, participants help create a traditional ornament or a snowman ornament, making for a fun and festive holiday activity. These events are great photo opportunities, so dont forget to bring your camera and plan to stay to watch hot molten glass formed into wonderful holiday ornaments. SPARK! Dallas presents SPARK! City, a first-of-its-kind immersive public art exhibition celebrating Dallas neighborhoods from June 5 through August 30, 2026..

Designed for both Dallas residents and visitors attending this summers international soccer festivities, SPARK! City transforms the venue into a journey through Downtown/Uptown, Deep Ellum, Oak Cliff/Bishop Arts, Vickery Meadow and The Cedars. Each neighborhood is brought to life through original artwork and immersive installations created by students from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, Emmett J. Conrad High School, and Dallas artist Erika Bauer.

Guests can explore the history, culture and creative spirit of each neighborhood while also enjoying SPARK!s popular play sculpture areas and Creative Corner. The exhibit is open Saturdays from 10 a.m.3 p.m., Sundays from 15 p.m., and select weekdays from 15 p.m. during FIFA Family Days.

Admission to SPARK!
