You are in AIR CONDITIONING. Your seats are still outside in the blazing heat, but you can come in and cool down anytime you want. The price continues to increase, so the savings value is a bit "iffy". But it's worth considering if you plan on eating at the park!
Other Ways to Save on Tickets
*** Buy the cheap seats as low as $6-$14. (I found these deals on StubHub). These are the outer 5 sections of the upper deck with a nice view of the field. (right side of the field you could get shade). Get the first couple of rows in that section. Plus if the game isn't crowded you could potentially move down a few rows, but I suggest you wait at least 3 innings as people come late.
Note: If you're going during the day, try to sit in the shade. Most seats behind the outfield wall in right are under an overhang which will keep you out of the sun most of the time. At night, right field/first baseline seats are your best bet.
***Compare ticket brokers. SeatGeek, Vivid Seats and Ticket Down are just a few examples. Note: Ticket Monster & StubHub are ticket brokers that list an all-inclusive price up front, so you know immediately how much the total cost will be. Be aware of high dollar service and shipping fees and make sure to shop and compare to get the most savings.
***Check out fan forums. you could find a super hot deal here. Many members are genuine fans that don't want the hassle of selling and will give away tickets for the games they can't attend.
***Wait it out. The closer you get to game day the more prices drop, as resellers naturally would rather settle for less of a profit over no sale at all.
***Bid on Tickets at ScoreBig. Let's be honest, most ticket broker sites are the same but this one is actually different. It is kind of like the Priceline of sports tickets. Just search events in your area, and make an offer on tickets and get an instant answer on whether your bid is accepted.
***Check out Citywide Events (your company must be a member and give you a login code). $40 Cost- Get 4 vouchers for FOUR absolutely FREE Sunday through Thursday home game tickets - Redeemed at the Box Offices (2 of the 4 vouchers are good for Lower Reserved, Lexus Club Terrace, Upper Box or Upper Reserved Levels and the Other 2 vouchers are good for Upper Box, Upper Reserved, or Grandstand Levels) All 4 tickets may be upgraded to the Corner Box for $15 per ticket - Redeemed at the box office only. PLUS 12 Vouchers 50% OFF tickets for home game tickets Valid for Corner Box, Lower Reserved, Lexus Club Terrace, Upper Box or Upper Reserved Levels - Redeemed online or at the box office. BONUS - you also will receive $250.00 off an Upper Level suite rental when you contact the Suites Sales. Suite Rental excludes 05/15, 06/26 and 10/2 home games.
Shuttle Service to Globe Life Park
It's easy to forget about the cost of parking. Multiple parking lots surround Globe Life Park in Arlington providing convenient access from major highways. General Parking is available for $17 and primarily located on the north and east sides of the ballpark. General parking passes are available for advance purchase online.
If you want to save some money on parking, consider using a shuttle service to Globe Life Park.

Other Parking Deals
***Check out apps like Park Whiz to save you some extra money. I was able to find parking spots around the area for as low as $7 and gives you peace of mind as the spot is reserved.
***$15. Arlington Event Parking is the closest independently licensed lot and you can get a prepaid pass online for $15.00 (there is a $1.50 handling fee).
***$5. Humperdink's Restaurant & Brewpub charges just 5 bucks for parking and shuttle service to the game. A good place to chow down before or after the event, too (3.5 stars on Yelp). If you choose to take in some exercise, count on a 10-minute walk from there to the stadium.
****Copeland Rd. This road is right off of I30, and there are some big retail and restaurant places such as Joes Crab Shack nearby.
***Another option are the free shuttles offered by certain hotels and restaurants in the area. One such place that offers free parking and a free shuttle to the Ballpark in Arlington is Sherlock's Bar and Grill in Lincoln Square. Call these locations in advance to confirm as this can change year to year.
The Rangers have a fairly liberal policy on bringing food and drink into the stadium. That doesn't mean you can pack a massive cooler, though!
Container Policy & Bag Inspections
No metal cans, glass containers or alcoholic beverages may be carried into the ballpark. Only soft-sided, collapsible coolers without plastic inserts are allowed - no hard coolers, backpacks, or oversized bags. All bags and purses must be 16"x16"x8" or smaller and are subject to search by ballpark staff.
Alcoholic Beverage Policy & Non-Alcohol Section
Section 335 has been designated as a non-alcohol section at Globe Life Park. Sales and consumption of beer are strictly prohibited in this section. Beer sales will be discontinued in all seating areas after the 7th inning and at concession stands after the 8th inning or two and one-half hours subsequent to the start of a single game, whichever occurs first. Sales may also be discontinued earlier, and in specific areas if necessary, at the discretion of Rangers management. Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission (TABC) prohibits alcohol being brought into or out of Globe Life Park in Arlington. TABC regulations also prohibit alcohol being taken from the main or upper concourses onto the club or suite levels, or taken off the club and suite levels to any other areas of the ballpark. The Texas Rangers remind guests to drink responsibly.
Congratulations to Globe Life Park in Arlington for giving us the opportunity to save some money. Bring some waters and snacks for the kids.
