Texas Cup Varsity Boys 1st.jpg

Flower Mound High School Water Polo hosted the Texas Cup this past weekend at LISD’s Westside Aquatic Center.  There were teams from all over the state of Texas competing for a victory of the Texas Cup.  But once again, for the 2nd year in a row, our Varsity boys took it home!  They defeated their rival, St.Marks, in the semi-final game 10-7 with a strong second half, then beat Denton Guyer for the win of the weekend.  The Varsity girls defeated Jersey Village 7-6 in Over Time with a huge comeback putting them in 2nd place overall.

The boys and girls JV teams also did very well and had a strong showing.

If you want to see some more Water Polo action, come out to Southlake Carroll this coming weekend! Go Jags!
