Lauren Faria, a sixteen year old Flower Mound High School junior will compete for Miss Texas Teen title Jun 27 - 29 at Eisemann Center in Richardson, TX.

Faria, who won Miss Austin Teen local tile in January has said her title has turned her world upside down. While juggling school and extra-curricular activities, promoting her social impact initiative  - Power of STEM for a Better World, Lauren has been preparing for another shot at the title. Last year, Faria ran as Miss East Texas Teen.

An Air Force Junior ROTC Rocketry Commander/ Group Superintendent and marching band member, Faria aspires to become an engineer and will play Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. She said the iconic song resonates within her soul and continues to impact her life. Faria cannot wait to share her passion for music and her interpretation of the song.
