A large number of Flower Mound residents have repeatedly stated in park surveys that they would appreciate an off-leash dog park.

Over the past year, the Town has been exploring the feasibility and possible locations for this amenity and continues to do so. After a joint workshop and multiple public meetings, the Town has narrowed the list of locations down to three parks which include: Heritage Park West (NW corner of Garden Ridge and Spinks), Gerault East (1200 Gerault Road), and Green Acres Farms (4400 Hide-A-Way Lane).

The Town Council is expected to begin discussing the item and possibly select a final location during the Oct. 7 Town Council Meeting.
