Linda McMahon, the inaugural CEO of the Dallas Economic Development Corporation (EDC), received the Industry Service Award from the North Texas Commercial Association of REALTORS (NTCAR) on April 30 at the Arts District Mansion in Dallas. She is the third person to receive this award from NTCAR. Jeff Swope, the managing partner of Champion Partners, presented the award.

Before her role at the Dallas EDC, McMahon served as the President and CEO of The Real Estate Council (TREC), representing over 2,000 members and 650 member companies. During her tenure, she was instrumental in launching several significant initiatives, such as creating the Dallas Housing Opportunity Fund in collaboration with the Local Initiatives Support Corporation.

Additionally, McMahon played a key role in establishing the Dallas Catalyst Project, which has generated over $140 million in leveraged investments in Dallas's Forest District over the past five years. She also initiated the Dallas Collaboration for Equitable Development, which received a $6 million investment from JPMorgan Chase.
