The Flower Mound High School Theatre Department JV production class, Studio ‘Prents, brings a dramatic presentation to the Black Box Theatre May 7-8 at 7 p.m.
Women and War by Jack Hilton Cunningham is a fictional collection of stories and monologues based on historical facts and presented in the style of reader’s theatre. Told by generations of Americans impacted by conflicts from WWI to the War in Afghanistan, Women and War brings to light the varying roles that woman have played in all of America’s 20th Century wars. "Deeply touching and educational...this play is an emotional roller coaster. These accounts are moving...funny, exciting, humbling, and incredibly sad all at the same time." (The Easy)
Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students. Seating is limited in the Flower Mound High School Black Box Theatre, 3411 Peters Colony Road, so audiences are encouraged to order tickets online in advance at www.fmhstheatre.net.
Director Keli Wilson, along with a creative team led by Dean Robertson and technical crews, present the work that was produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. Women and War is best suited for ages 11 and up.
